The Apple iPad 10th generation may sport Touch ID in the power button instead of the home button. Earlier this month, leaked CAD schematics of the upcoming tablet hinted that the upcoming iPad could sport flat edges. The latest report suggests that the iPad 10’s Touch ID might be similar to the iPad mini 6th generation with a top button and an integrated Touch ID sensor. A recent report also indicated that the Cupertino-based tech giant will hold a separate event sometime in October this year to announce the new iPad models. The entry-level iPad and iPad Pro powered by the M2 Apple silicon chip are expected to go official at the rumored launch event.
Makotakara said in a recent report warned Apple’s upcoming iPad may come with Touch ID in the power button instead of the home button. The report also adds that the iPad 10’s Touch ID might be similar to the iPad mini (6th gen) with a top button and an integrated Touch ID sensor.
As mentioned earlier there were alleged CAD schematics of Apple’s upcoming tablet Leek via MySmartPrice. The renders indicate that the overall design of the iPad 10 will remain the same with a large forehead and chin bezel. The difference in design was seen on the side of the tablet which looked flat.
Renders of the rear of the upcoming iPad have hinted at a new design for the camera setup. The camera setup appeared to be elevated in a protruding module.
To recall, a recent report indicated that Apple will hold a separate event to announce new iPad models in October this year. The entry-level iPad and iPad Pro powered by the M2 Apple silicon chip are expected to go official at the rumored launch event. As mentioned earlier, the iPad 10th generation will have a thinner design. It is said to get a design similar to the iPad mini, with a square shape and flat bezels. The screen is said to be larger compared to previous iPad models.
