Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie has accused ex-husband and actor Brad Pitt of cheating and theft. Angelina’s company has filed a $250 million lawsuit against Brad Pitt. According to a report in The Daily Mail, Angelina’s former company Novell LLC said Brad took over their joint French wine business from her and then secretly transferred the assets to friends and some ‘vanity’ projects.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dated each other for years and got married in 2014. But their relationship did not last long. After differences and clashes between the two, both of them divorced each other in the year 2016. Both became parents to 6 children during their relationship and after marriage.
The company accused Brad Pitt of stealing resources. The company says it embezzled USD 1 million for a swimming pool and more than that for a recording studio. At the same time, Brad Pitt has also filed a case against Angelina. He said the cross-complaint filed by Novell LLC appears to be a legal retaliation.
Brad Pitt said that Angelina had illegally sold her stake in Chateau Miraval, a wine company. The report said Angelina had held onto her shares in Miraval, but later sold it to beverage giant Stoli in 2021. The report claimed that Brad transferred the company’s assets to his friends and other companies in order to take control of Chateau Miraval.
The lawsuit states that Brad Pitt’s dual purpose was to “seize the value of Jolie’s company, Novell, and to obtain sole ownership of Chateau Miraval.” It further stated that Angelina wanted to sell half of her shares to Brad Pitt but after the split, Brad tried to add false information to her contract.
