An ancient cave has been discovered by a team from the Archaeological Department of Israel. This cave is said to be from the time of Pharaoh II of Egypt and it is believed to be 3 thousand 300 years old. A team of Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) has found a priceless treasure in this cave.

Pieces of pottery and some bronze artefacts have been found in the cave excavated by the Archaeological Department. After experts got more information about it, all these items belonged to the king of Egypt and he ruled Egypt before 1213 AD. The team released a video of the cave on Sunday and gave detailed information about it.

The cave is located near a beach and was discovered by a mechanic while working on the roof of Plamahim National Park. After this he informed the concerned officials about this. When the officials of the Archaeological Department were observing it with the help of stairs, they came to know about this square shaped cave. Dozens of pottery are visible in a video released by the Israeli team.

These pots are of different sizes. The team found some bowls which were painted red. Some bone fragments have also been found in it. Along with this, the officials of the Archaeological Department have also found items like water cups, cooking utensils, jars, lamps, bronze arrows and spears. Meanwhile, all these items are kept after the death of a person at their last shrine and at the place of burial. This cave and its contents were kept 3,300 years ago and till date no one has touched them.

A skeleton was found in this cave and it was found in two square plots on the side of the cave. IAA expert Ali Yanai said, “This cave is a more accurate picture of Bronze Age funeral rituals. This is a rare and once-in-a-lifetime discovery. He also pointed out that some remains can be found in the cave. Sealed During the reign of State II, the region now belongs to Israel and Palestine.
