A mass grave containing 440 bodies was found in the northeastern city of Izium, according to a Reuters report, in which several people were killed in shelling and airstrikes. The report claimed that Russian troops had fled over the past few days after capturing the city and using the area as a logistics hub for the Kharkiv region. Russian troops have left a huge amount of ammunition and weapons.

Along with this, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine has also confirmed the meeting of the cemetery by tweeting. The Defense Ministry said in its tweet that 440 bodies were found in the largest cemetery in the Russian-occupied territory. Along with this, soldiers are also engaged in searching for hidden graves. Serhi Bolvinov, the chief police officer of the Kharkiv region, told Sky News that some people were killed by artillery fire and some by air strikes.
