Zoom, one of the most popular video calling apps, released a statement Thursday evening after thousands of users reported problems with the platform on Downdetector.com. After more than 40,000 complaints about problems working on the video-conferencing platform, Zoom assured its users that it is actively working to resolve the issue. Within an hour, the platform made another announcement that the issue had been resolved and users would no longer face the problem. These problems were reported from all over the world including India.

According to the information received, around 40,377 users faced problems on Zoom on Thursday evening downdetectorin India, faced these issues between 8 pm and 9.30 pm IST.

Most of the complaints were about difficulties connecting to conferences or meetings, while users faced problems with server connections and logging in.

Soon after, Zoom released a statement on Twitter assuring users that they are aware of the issue and are actively working to resolve it. The video conferencing platform also said that its engineering team is involved in investigating the matter.

Within another hour, the company updated the status with another tweet, informing users that the issue had been fixed and the app was now working properly for everyone.
