The Windows 10 2H22 update with the latest Chrome dev version will allow users to set Google Chrome as the default browser with just one click, according to a report. Currently, users have to go into Settings and then set Chrome as the default browser. Meanwhile, Microsoft has released Windows 10 21H2 for Windows Insiders with some quality improvements. These improvements include some language-related features as well as enhanced ability to detect and prevent ransomware and advanced attacks.

According to a Report via The Verge, via Reddit, users need only one click to change their default browser from Chromium to Chrome. It is not known whether this quick switching is possible for any other browser that you previously selected and now want to switch to Google Chrome. With Chrome (Chrome Dev 106.0.5231.2) and Windows 10 22H2 updates, users can ask Chrome to be their default browser by clicking a pop-up in the browser. Currently, users are directed to the Windows Settings app to change the default browser.
