Congress President Election: Friday i.e. 30 September is the last date for filing applications for the election of Congress President. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been ruled out of the presidential election. Now there are two names in the race, which include Shashi Tharoor and Digvijay Singh. Digvijay Singh has applied to contest in this election. He will file his nomination papers tomorrow.
Earlier, Tharoor had also announced filing of nominations on September 30. In such a situation, many people have wondered who will be involved in this race without these two. Tomorrow is the last date for filing nomination papers for the Presidential election. Pawan Bansal’s name is also in discussion in this Congress election. It is reported that he has also taken the nomination form. Pawan Bansal was the Railway Minister during the UPA government. Talking about this, former Congress leader Kuldeep Vishnoi says that the decisions of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have caused the plight of Congress.
