Ekta Kapoor: Bihar’s Begusarai Court has issued an arrest warrant against famous Bollywood film, TV and web series producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor. A warrant was issued against Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘XXX’ for showing an objectionable picture of a constable’s wife. The warrant has been issued by the court of Begusarai Magistrate Vikas Kumar.
After the release of Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X Season 2’ under the banner of ‘ALT Balaji’, Ekta was accused of insulting the soldiers of the country, their uniform and the character of their wives. In one episode of the series, it was shown that while a constable is doing his duty at the border, his wife has illicit relations with other men behind her back. Not only this, these women invite other men to their homes, wear their husband’s military uniforms and commit abominable acts with foreign men.
What exactly is logic?
Former soldier Shambhu Kumar filed a complaint in the court against Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X’ on 6 June 2020. He had alleged that in Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X Season 2’, objectionable scenes were shown about the wives of Indian soldiers. Shambhu Kumar said that Indian soldiers risk their lives to protect the country. They should be treated with respect. But, this web series depicting an Indian soldier and his wife in such a wrong way is an insult to the soldiers. In this case, summons were issued against Ekta and Shobha Kapoor in February 2021. Now the court has issued an arrest warrant in this case.
Ekta Kapoor regrets deleting that scene
Ekta Kapoor also reacted to this controversy. Ekta Kapoor had said that she removed these scenes from the web series after knowing that these scenes had hurt feelings. On this controversy, Ekta Kapoor also apologized to the people and the audience. After the release of the web series ‘XXX’, there were protests across the country against the series. Complaints were filed against Ekta Kapoor at many places across the country. Cases are also registered against him in many districts of Bihar.
