PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi PM Modi will on Friday flag off a new and improved version of the indigenous high-speed Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Gujarat capital Gandhinagar and Mumbai Central. Due to this, the government has made many efforts to strengthen the Make in India campaign and the success of Vande Bharat train is one of them. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort on August 15, Prime Minister Modi announced that 75 Vande Bharat Express trains would be run to all corners of the country during the 75-week period of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

Gujarat tour begins from Surat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Gujarat. Friday is the second day of his tour. He had a very busy schedule on Thursday, the first day of the tour. The Prime Minister’s Gujarat tour began from Surat. Apart from Surat, he participated in events organized in Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad. Also inaugurated the 36th National Games in Ahmedabad.

Vande Bharat Express Schedule Declared
A day before the start of Vande Bharat’s third train, the Railway Ministry has announced its schedule. Vande Bharat Train will run from Ahmedabad to Mumbai 6 days a week. This train will leave Mumbai Central at 6.10 am and reach Gandhinagar at 12.10 pm. On the other hand, it will depart from Gandhinagar at 2.05 PM and reach Mumbai Central at 8.35 PM. The train takes 5.25 hours to complete the journey from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, while the train takes 6.20 hours to reach Gandhinagar.

It will run at a speed of 160 kmph

Vande Bharat Express is known for speed, safety and service. Vande Bharat Express can run at a maximum speed of 160 kmph and has passenger classes like Shatabdi trains, providing better service to the passengers. It takes people to their destination in less time than before. In addition, all coaches have automatic doors, GPS based audio-visual passenger information system, onboard hotspot Wi-Fi for entertainment purposes and very comfortable seating. The working class also has swivel chairs and bio-vacuum toilets.

On which routes do Vande Bharat trains run?
Vande Bharat Express, the country’s first semi-high speed train, currently operates between two routes: New Delhi-Shri Vaishno Devi Mata, Katra and New Delhi-Varanasi. The new Vande Bharat Express is the third Vande Bharat train in the country to run between Gandhinagar Rajdhani and Mumbai. Earlier this year, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had announced the launch of Vande Bharat Express from Khajuraho. Soon these trains will run across the country.
