The Witcher Season 3 is set to release in the summer of 2023. At Tudm 2022’s online-only event, Netflix released a teaser art for the Henry Cavill-led dark fantasy series, featuring Geralt’s scattered medallion — the pieces of which take shape. Swallow and a star. Season 3 sees Geralt travel to Aretuza’s castle, as he again escorts Ciri to Cintra (Freya Allen), who is revealed to have Elder blood running through her veins. Anya Chalotra returns to play the witch Yennefer, who has a complicated relationship with him.
Plot details for The Witcher season 3 are unclear, but hints in the teaser image suggest that the chapter will see the trio working together, protecting Ciri from danger. For the uninitiated, the swallow symbol translates to Zireel, an old Gwaihire sword forged by a gnome in Tir Tochair — gifted to Ciri. Meanwhile, the upside-down star symbol is Obsidian, which Yennefer wears in both the Netflix series and the CD Projekt Red video game.
