Mumbai : Relief and Rehabilitation Department despite opposition from Finance Department during Corona period quick response vehicle purchase decided to do. Vijay Wadettiwar denies all these allegations

The decision to purchase the Rapid Response Vehicle was taken during the then Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Vijay Wadettiwar. But Vijay Wadettiwar has denied all these allegations. Vadettiwar said, the buses have been bought at the same price as the one bought by the coalition government of 2014 and only due to increase in GST the prices have increased to some extent as compared to the coalition government. Vijay Vadettiwar has also brought some documents in this regard.

What is the matter?

A special vehicle scheme called Quick Response was launched to provide immediate assistance in case of any natural or man-made calamity in Maharashtra. But ABP Majha has come to know of a scam of crores of rupees in the purchase of Rapid Response Vehicles procured by the State Relief and Rehabilitation Department. Rapid response vehicles worth Rs 25-30 lakh have been procured at a cost of Rs.1 crore 94 lakh. ABP Majha has found evidence that this car with maintenance was bought for Rs 3 crore.
