The new car from Tata Motors, the Tiago EV, is very attractive in appearance and more premium. Blue color is a special highlight of this car. It gets a twisted bumper and differently designed wheels vac from the grille. It has five color options, but the blue color is special. Some changes have been made in the interior of this new car. The Diamond new car is more premium than its standard petrol Tiago. This EV has a special blue color. It gets a full-size touchscreen, connected car tech, tire pressure monitoring system, push button start, rotary gear selector, 8-speaker Harman audio system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto climate control and headlamps.

The Tiago EV gets the same space as the ICE model. The cabin has been made quite premium. Plus without the spare wheel, there is more boot space. It provides plenty of space to store the battery pack. The biggest highlight of this car is its battery pack, which comes with Ziptron architecture. This battery pack also has more range and faster charging capabilities. With DC fast charger, this battery gets charged from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes. Whereas with a normal AC home charger, this car can be charged in just 3 hours 36 minutes.

The car is capable of delivering a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 315km with a 24kWh battery pack. So it is possible to get a range of 250km with the 19.2kWh battery pack. Most of its variants will come with a larger battery pack of 24kWh. Both are IP67 rated battery packs. It also offers four-stage multi-mode regenerative braking along with two drive modes. It is claimed to have 74hp of power and 114 Nm of torque with a large battery pack. This car accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds.

The price of this car is Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Which is for its 19.2kWh battery variant. The price of its 24kWh variant starts from Rs 9.9 lakh. The top-end variant with 7.2kW AC Home Fast Charger is priced at Rs 11.7 lakh. These prices are for the first 10,000 bookings. Out of which 2000 are reserved for existing Tigor/Nexon EV buyers.
