The delivery boy shared his inspiring story on LinkedIn which has now gone viral. Tariq Khan shares the story of a Swiggy delivery boy who used to work barefoot.
When asked by Tariq Khan, the delivery boy told him that he had met with an accident that day and had swollen feet and ankles. When Tariq Khan advised him to take rest, the delivery boy said that he wanted to feed his family. Then he smiled and went back. Tariq Khan decided to share his inspiring story with the masses. Tariq Khan posted a photo of the delivery boy on LinkedIn and wrote, ‘Just met a Swiggy delivery agent who was barefoot in the lift with me. I asked him why he is not wearing shoes. It was written in the caption.
“He said he had an accident today and his feet and ankles were swollen. I replied, ‘So you rest, don’t work.’ He smiled and said that I have a family to feed. He got out of the lift and said, ‘Sir good. Evening’. It is people like him who inspire me to work hard and push myself when needed. I hope Swiggy rewards this guy for his hard work and understands my point,” Tarikh Khan said in his post.
