SOVA virus SBI warns customers about virus targeting banking apps, know what is SOVA Trojan

WARNING SOVA Malware (SOVA Trojan) Can Erase All Money In Your Bank Account state Bank of India(SBI) has given to the customers. SBI has said that this virus will enter your phone through the app and can attack your valuables. Canara Bank has also given this precautionary notice to its customers. This instructable is specifically for Android phones.

What is Sova virus?

According to SBI’s warning, Sova is a Trojan malware that steals personal data of customers using banking apps. All confidential information related to it is stolen. This malware records credentials every time you use your banking app. It is difficult to identify and eliminate.

Sowa malware works like this

Initially, it gets installed in your phone through a fake message. This Trojan then provides information about all your existing apps to hackers. Then hackers send viruses to your phone through command and control. Along with this, a list is also sent which contains information about the targeted apps. If you use these apps, the virus stores its data in an XML file, making it easy for hackers to access.

Once this virus enters your phone, it becomes difficult to remove it. So if you want to avoid it then taking precautions is an easy solution.
