SII's Poonawalla Makes Clarion Call for Global Certification of Vaccines Know Details

That’s why Poonawalla said that there is a need for global standardization of vaccines in case of any future pandemic.

Poonawal said at the Global CEO Conference, “Multilateral organizations like the United Nations and WTO should take responsibility for the verification of vaccines. Epidemic. On this occasion, Poonawalla mentioned the problems being faced in the supply of vaccines. Vaccine certificates and clinical trial documents were not accepted at the beginning of the corona epidemic. That’s why Poonawalla said that there is a need for global standardization of vaccines in the coming times.

Poonawalla also expressed confidence that India will play its role in leading important initiatives like global standardization of vaccines. Poonawalla also said that they are looking for global partnerships to enter the health insurance business in India.

Would like to partner with a global conglomerate to bring a brand to India. Poonawalla explained that this partnership can help increase health insurance for the masses. Speaking on the occasion, Poonawalla stressed on the need to develop the health insurance business in India through international partnerships. SII has invested Rs 10,000 crore in the last two years to grow the insurance business. Another Poonawalla is reported to have invested US$18,44,229 in the last five decades.
