Shirdi Kopargaon Crime News: There has been an incident in Kopargaon where a female beggar was crushed to death by a migrant in a dispute over garbage collection. Interestingly, the accused was sleeping next to the dead body at night. The incident has been caught on CCTV and the accused, who was preparing to escape from the train in the morning, has been arrested by the police.

In Shingnapur Shivara of Kopargaon taluka of Ahmednagar district (Kopargaon News) Deceased Sonu Kumari, a beggar woman, and accused Nisar Khan, originally from Bihar, had an argument over the collection of scrap and plastic bottles. Nisar Khan, keeping his anger in his heart, killed Sonu Kumari by crushing him with a stone in the night. After this Nisar dragged the body of Sonu Kumari in front of a shop in a commercial premises and the accused slept next to the dead body for a long time.

After waking up the accused fled from there. Meanwhile, when the owner of the shop came to open the shop in the morning, he saw the dead body and immediately informed the police. After being caught in the CCTV camera, the police started looking for him on the basis of CCTV.

Police arrested the accused within few hours

When the accused Nisar Khan was trying to escape from the train, the police arrested him within a few hours. The accused has confessed to his crime and a case of murder has been registered against him under section 302. Has the accused done any such act in the past? Police is now probing it.

Police Inspector Vasudev Desale of Kopargaon police station said that we immediately formed a team and they started investigation. After the incident came to light, we inspected the railway station premises and related areas and arrested the accused. With the prompt action taken after the incident, the accused could be traced. There is no trace of both the accused and the deceased. So if the accused had run away now, he might not have been found. Now the accused has been arrested and taken into police custody. Inspector Desale has said that he will be investigated to see if he has committed any such crime in the past.
