Along with this, the Meteorological Department has informed that the monsoon has retreated from the capital Delhi as well. The Meteorological Department has informed that the monsoon will return from Maharashtra between October 5 and October 10.

At this time a favorable environment has been created for the withdrawal of monsoon in the country. Monsoon has already returned from Northwest Rajasthan and Kutch in Gujarat. Similarly, Monsoon has now retreated from Delhi along with Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. So there is less chance of rain now. Meanwhile, parts of Maharashtra have received heavy rains.

Heavy rain along with strong wind and lightning has also caused loss of life and property.

A woman and two animals were killed in a lightning strike in Latur district. Flower cultivation in Hingoli has been washed away by rain water. Other crops have also been damaged. Agriculture in Parbhani has suffered a lot due to non-stop rain for three days. Water has been released from Yeldari and Lower Dudhana projects. In Nanded district, water has accumulated in many farm sheds due to incessant rains for the last two days. The hand crop has been washed away in the water.
