What exactly is loan app scam?
The accused who were arrested by the Pune Police in this case had data of about one lakh people ready. That is, these online robbers had prepared to cheat about one lakh people through 16 apps. Your data, photos are captured and sent to the people in your contact list. Police investigation has revealed that foreign syndicates are also working behind these robbers, who demand money in return.
Robbers have used lakhs of SIM cards to make calls. The accounts from which the money was withdrawn were all created on the basis of Aadhaar cards of less educated or laborers and were used for fraudulent withdrawals. The Pune Cyber Police has frozen thousands of such accounts with crores of rupees.
Online fraud is by far the worst form. In this type, apart from financial loss, mental abuse is also taking place. Due to which the case has increased from suicide to murder. That’s why the police have appealed that if someone sends a message saying that give loan on mobile phone immediately, then do not click on it.
