2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed kadhai. Fry the almond paste on low flame till it turns light brown.
3. Slowly add milk to the mixture while stirring continuously.
4. Now bring to a boil and cook till the mixture becomes thick.
5. Add sugar and cook for few more minutes till it becomes thick like pudding. Serve hot with saffron paste and chopped pistachios.

Due to the amount of sugar and milk in almonds, you can eat this syrup in the morning breakfast or you can drink a cup of warm milk mixed with 2 teaspoons of it.
