After the ongoing action for the last few days, the Central Government has banned the Popular Front of India (PFI) and many other organizations associated with it on 28 September. After this decision, politics has started in the whole country. Some people have raised their voice against this move of the government. Many people have supported it. There was a debate in the news channels on this issue. Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay, while speaking at an event, also targeted the PFI and attacked the Congress party. On this occasion, Upadhyay said that the peace in the country is not because of the Constitution but because of the Hindus. Supreme Court advocate Ashwini Upadhyay participated in the discussion on Network 18 India. He has given this statement while speaking on this occasion. “What is the reason that PFI was banned today and Congress announced Digvijay Singh’s name for the election of Congress President. Maybe tomorrow he will become Congress President. This is the same Digvijay Singh who is on stage with PFI. He is the biggest supporter of this organization. “I am just trying to understand that PFI is over but their biggest supporter is going to be Congress President. What is the connection between this?, Ashwini Upadhyay asked.
Ashwini Upadhyay said, “Happiness and peace in this country is not because of the Constitution. Secularism in this country is not because of the Constitution. Secularism in India is because of Hindus. What was 90 percent earlier has become 78 percent now.”
Ashwini Upadhyay further said, “Secularism does not work where Hindus die. Secularism does not work in Kashmir, Ladakh and Lakshadweep. In the nine states where Hindus were killed, secularism does not work. The brotherhood that exists in this country is It is because of Hindus.”
Upadhyay made a strong attack supporting the ban on PFI. Ashwini Upadhyay said, “PFI spreads terror, does love jihad, converts. Takes foreign funds. Runs madrassas. Non-Muslims are infidels, kill infidels, convert them.”
