Pandharpur News After the war, the pilgrimage development plan currently rejected in Pandharpur

Pandharpur News: On Ashadhi Ekadashi, the new Chief Minister Eknath Shinde (CM Eknath Shinde) after the official worship of Ashadhi. to Pandharpur A comprehensive plan was announced and new controversies are coming to the fore in Pandharpur every day. As per the orders of the Chief Minister, the officials went to work and even made religious visits to religious places like Varanasi and Tirupati. After this visit, the District Magistrate, while announcing the initial plan of 13 thousand crores, sought suggestions from the citizens. Only then did the real controversy emerge. For the first time the traders and citizens of the temple area rose to oppose the widening of the temple area. For this he has also kept a day off. The reason for this protest was also the same, road widening work was done in the temple area for the first time in 1982, but today even after 40 years many people established at this time neither got any seat nor compensation. No one wants a road widening bulldozer at their home because of bad experience in the past. Therefore, there is a demand of the citizens of this area that the citizens should be trusted first while making the plan and the widening should not be done again in those places where it was widened earlier.

As soon as a part of the ancient historical structure of Shrimant Holkar Sansthan and Shrimant Shinde Sarkar Sansthan came to the fore against the proposal to enlarge the Mahadwar Ghat leading to Chandrabhaga, now Dhangar Samaj has given them a serious warning. The government said that even if the bricks of this ancient structure were removed, there would be bloodshed. These are two historical structures at the Mahadwar Ghat of Chandrabhaga. Among these, Holkar Wada was built by Ahilya Devi Holkar in 1767 for the workers. For the construction of this historic structure spread over two acres of land, teak wood was brought from Madhya Pradesh by sea. Manager Aditya Fattepurkar has claimed that the demolition will damage the ancient temple of Rama and Hanuman at the 125 quarry palace with two floors.

On the other side of this ghat is the historical palace of Shinde Sarkar of Gwalior and Dwarkadhish Temple. Like the Holkar Wada, this Wada is also of 125 Khanna and this structure standing in the fortifications in stone construction is also going to be affected by the widening of the road. This grand historical structure was built in 1849 by the then Maharani Baijbai Shinde. One and a half lakh rupees were spent on this fort built about 168 years ago. Now if there is any danger to this structure, then even the Shinde family of Gwalior will not tolerate it, so the ghat administration will have to stop the widening of Mahadwar Ghat road.

Opposition to the inclusion of 8 villages in the municipality

There is no opposition to the development plan only in Pandharpur town, but the villages of Gopalpur, Shirdon, Takli, Shegaon Dumala, Wakhri, Korti and Kasegaon have been proposed to be included in the municipal limits. Now there is a strong protest in all the villages for inclusion in the municipality on this issue and Wakhri village has called a special Gram Sabha and passed a unanimous resolution against it. We do not need such municipality which cannot develop Pandharpur city properly, but we can develop our village completely from this village. By erasing the historical identity of the village, the burden of taxes will not be passed on to the villagers. Apart from this, the municipality has an eye on strategic open spaces in the village and if we want to develop then the villagers of Wakhri have taken a strong stand that they should appoint a committee under the leadership of the District Collector and develop it. Providing money

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are now becoming villains in the eyes of citizens due to the laziness shown by officials in presenting the development plan, while the government takes over citizens, traders, Warkari community and village panchayats. While developing Pandharpur, the area was taken into confidence but the time has come for the people of Pandharpur to say that your plan is over.
