The many observers of the destiny of Atos were waiting for Thales, even Orange or Airbus, but it was finally the French digital services company Onepoint which drew up a preliminary offer. According to our information, the company created, directed and controlled by David Layani sent Tuesday evening to the board of directors of the French computer group in difficulty a proposal for partial takeover.

Accompanied by the British investment fund ICG, Onepoint invites Atos to sell its activities in better shape (cybersecurity, supercomputers, software installation) which were intended, according to the split plan presented last June by the IT services group, to join a structure called “Evidian”. The offer, consulted by “Les Echos”, attributes to this set an enterprise value of 4.2 billion euros. In detail, the ICG investment fund would bring 2 billion euros in cash to the operation. Onepoint would finance the remainder in equity and through debt.
