National Games 2022: Indian weightlifters have given maximum performance in this year’s Commonwealth Games 2022 (Commonwealth Games 2022). This time Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu won the gold medal (Mirabai won the gold medal). Mirabai has won a gold medal in the women’s 49 kg weight category at the National Games. Mirabai has achieved this feat by lifting a total of 191 kg. This time he lifted 84 kg in the snatch round and 107 kg in the clean and jerk. Interestingly, he didn’t have to make a third attempt in the clean and jerk as he did a good job from the start. Since he is already in the lead, he has won the gold medal. Sanjita bagged silver medal and Odisha’s Sneha Soren won bronze medal on this occasion.

Mirabai single handed victory

In the first attempt, Mirabai took the lead in the snatch round by lifting 81 kg. Then in the second attempt, he increased his lead by lifting 84 kg. Then she did not have to make a third attempt in the snatch round, as she was 3 kg ahead of the other players. Then in the clean and jerk round, Mirabeen lifted 103 kg in her first attempt. After this, Sanjita gave a tough competition to Mirabai by lifting 105 kg in her third attempt. But Mirai took the lead once again by lifting 107kg in her second attempt. Since she was ahead of the others, she didn’t have to make the third attempt.
