Nashik News: Coriander, which is used in all vegetables, is eating ‘Bhav’ in Nashik nowadays and is being sold at the price of gold. Coriander prices have skyrocketed Bhidla and Coriander Judi is being sold directly for Rs.200. Though the rains have reduced in Nashik district, the prices of vegetables are still high. Coriander used in all vegetables (vegetable price hike) has reached a high. The price of coriander has increased during the festive season.

Due to less arrivals presently getting good price of coriander in Nashik. The farmers are getting around Rs 160 per juni from traders and coriander juni is being sold for Rs 200 in the market. Farmers are getting good profit from this, but common people are putting fingers in their mouth.

Although the rains have brought relief to the city of Nashik, the rains have damaged the condition of vegetables in many areas. This has also affected the inflow of agricultural products. In comparison to the regular arrival, only 50 to 60 percent of the arrival is going on, the prices of vegetables are tight. Leafy vegetables have decreased. Some leafy vegetables are available. Their rates are also high.

The vegetables of the farmer brothers are entering the Agricultural Produce Market Committee. From there, vegetables are bought from vendors and sold in the retail market. At present only about 50 to 60 percent of the regular income is received. Therefore, the price of any vegetable is starting from Rs 20 or Rs 30 per kg to Rs 120 to Rs 160 per kg. Meanwhile, vegetables like bhindi, shimla, gilke, dodke, aloo, brinjal are as usual out of reach in the market, the question of what to put in the children’s box is troubling the housewives.

Vegetable seller Amol said that in Nashik Agricultural Produce Market Committee, vegetables are received from urban areas like Makhmalabad, Mhsrul, Adgaon, Peth, Surgana, Sinnar, Niphad and other areas. From here vegetables are sent to Nashik city along with Mumbai and Gujarat. For the last three-four days, the arrival of coriander has decreased, coriander is bringing the price of gold. At the same time, the prices of other vegetables have also increased. Due to less arrival in Pitru Paksha, the prices of vegetables had increased. But now all vegetables have become expensive.
