Maharashtra Scholarship Exam 2021: The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) has postponed the Maharashtra Scholarship Examination Class 5 and Class 8 due to the increase in the number of corona patients. Maharashtra Scholarship Exam 2021 was scheduled to be held on 23rd May, which has now been postponed. The new date of examination will be announced as per the situation. In a notice issued on the website, it has been said that keeping in mind the increasing cases of corona virus epidemic and the priority of student safety, the scholarship examination – 2021 is being postponed. The next exam date will be announced in due course. At the same time, School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has also given this information through his official Twitter page.
He wrote in his tweet that keeping in mind the increasing spread of the corona virus epidemic and the interest of the students, the Pre Higher Secondary Scholarship Examination (Class 5) and Pre Secondary Scholarship Examination (Class 8), 2021 have been scheduled. The meeting scheduled for May 23 has been postponed.
According to media reports, about 47,662 schools in Maharashtra have registered for the Scholarship Examination 2021. A total of 6,32,478 students had appeared in this examination. Out of these, 3,88,335 students are of 5th standard and 2,44,143 students are of 8th standard. Interestingly, these exams have been postponed in the past as well. Earlier Maharashtra Scholarship Exam 2021 was scheduled to be held on 25th April. Then the exam was to be held on May 23, which has now been postponed.
The Maharashtra Board has already postponed the 12th board exam and has announced the cancellation of the 10th board exam in view of the increasing cases of the pandemic.
