Aurangabad News: In Jalna district as well as in Aurangabad, on the occasion of Navratriotsav (Navratotsav 2022), the incident of poisoning with Bhagar and Bhagdi flour has come to the fore. Treatment of poisoned people is going on in the hospital. In the Lasur police station area of ​​Aurangabad, 13 people were poisoned at the same time. 24 people from Partur taluka of Jalna district have been poisoned.

On the occasion of Navratri festival at Lasur station in Aurangabad, villagers bought Bhagar and Bhagriche Peeth from different villages of the area. However, it has come to the fore that 13 villagers have been poisoned by the consumption of this Bhagri. He was admitted to a private hospital in the village for treatment of abdominal pain, vomiting and dizziness.

The condition of the affected is stable

Responding to the incident, District Health Officer Dr. Abhay Dhanorkar said, it was understood that the concerned people had bought Bhagar from a shop at Lasoor station. In this regard, instructions will be given to the Food and Drug Administration Department for investigation. The condition of the people suffering from malnutrition is stable.

24 people poisoned in Jalna

Like Aurangabad, in Partur taluka of Jalna district also poison from the flour of Bhagar and Bhagdi has been found. Preliminary information has emerged that 24 people have been poisoned in four villages of Partur taluka. Most of them are women. All the poisoned persons are being treated in the hospital.
