Maharashtra IAS transferred: 44 IAS officers (IAS transfers) have been transferred simultaneously in the state yesterday. Some senior officers have also been transferred. Manisha Mhaiskar, Principal Secretary, Environment Department, has been appointed as Principal Secretary and Chief Etiquette Officer in the ministry. He has also been given additional charge of english language department. Abhijit Bangar has been appointed as a commissioner in the Thane Municipal Corporation (Thane Municipal Corporation), a stronghold of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Rajesh Narvekar has been appointed as the Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Osmanabad Collector Kaustubh Divegaonkar has been transferred. Guardian Minister Tanaji Sawant had complained about this to the Chief Secretary. Divegaonkar has been transferred to Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Development Department. Tukaram Munde has been appointed as the Commissioner and Director of the National Health Mission.
Praveen Darade has been appointed as Secretary, Environment Department, who was earlier the Managing Director of the State Small Industries Development Corporation. He has also been given additional charge of the post of Member Secretary, Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board. Rohan Ghuge, who was earlier Assistant Collector Project Officer, Chandrapur, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Wardha Zilla Parishad.
Nashik Zilla Parishad CEO Leena Bansod has been transferred as Tribal Additional Commissioner of Thane. Ashima Mittal has been appointed in his place.
Unorganized Labor Development Commissioner Ashwini Joshi has been appointed as Secretary, Medical Education and Drugs Department. Nilesh Gatne, Chief Executive Officer of Aurangabad Zilla Parishad, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Slum Rehabilitation Authority. Secretary, Tribal Department, Dr. Anoop Kumar Yadav has been appointed as Secretary, Minorities Department.
Food and Drug Administration Commissioner A. R. Black has been appointed. Jayshree Bhoj, Managing Director, Tourism Development Corporation, has been appointed as Director General, Directorate of Information and Public Relations. He will also have the additional charge of Managing Director of Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation. While Industrial Development Commissioner Harshdeep Kamble has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Industries, Energy and Labor Department.
Also, a total of 44 officers have been transferred.
