Lumpy Skin Disease Go Science Research Center Nagpur Ayurvedic Treatment

Lumpy skin diseases: The lumpy disease, which is causing havoc all over the country, has also spread in Maharashtra. Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil told that this disease has spread in 30 districts of the state. Efforts are being made across the country to remove the lumpy disease. Along with vaccination, quarantine is also being done. Cow urine and other Ayurvedic remedies have been found to be effective in treating lumpy skin disease in animals. Doctors at Gau Vigyan Anusudha Kendra at Devlapar in Nagpur district claim that around 850 bovine animals in their gaushala are lump-free based on cow urine.

Instead of a positive discussion about the Ayurvedic benefits of cow urine and cow dung, they are always used in a negative form in political accusations. However, now the same cow urine is going to be helpful in fighting the nodular disease. According to Dr. Nandini Bhojraj, principal doctor of Devlapar Gau Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra in Nagpur district, giving boiled and cooled cow urine of healthy indigenous cow to animals with symptoms like lump can increase their immunity and get rid of the lump. While animals that have not yet been exposed to lumpi can fight off lumpi disease by boosting their immune systems.

Method of feeding cow urine to cow urine –
Animals above one year of age should be given 100 ml boiled cow urine.

A calf above one year of age should be given 50 ml boiled cow urine.

Along with Neem-Adhulsa-Gulvel-Turmeric-Ajna (Arjuna) leaves of all these should be fed.

The cowshed should be cleaned every evening.

Bhojraj claims that in this way he saved the cow in the cowshed from the outbreak of lump in 2018-19. This year also eight and a half hundred cows are completely healthy in the Gaushala located at Devlapar.

At present, there is an atmosphere of fear in rural areas regarding lumpy disease. The government has carried out a campaign of isolation as well as vaccination of infected animals within a radius of five kilometers of the affected area. But still the number of lumpy villages is increasing every day. In such a situation, it is possible to treat lumps with equipment like cow urine available in the village. Many people are saying that it is necessary for the government to conduct a campaign to save the livestock of farmers by giving proper training to the farmers in this regard.
