In view of the activities of the PFI, the investigating agencies had recommended the Union Home Ministry to ban the organization. The Home Ministry issued an ordinance and banned it. The PFI organization was getting terrorist funding from Gulf countries. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has informed that the central government will take action against the anti-national activities of this organization.
