Based on preliminary research, scientists found that the virus can easily enter human cells and increase the risk of infection.
During the corona period, scientists came to know about another virus, which, like the corona, is found in wild animals such as bats, pangolins, dogs and pigs. The name of this virus is Khosta-2. Important information related to this came to the fore during research on Corona. But at that time scientists did not take this virus seriously, because no such symptoms were found in it. So not much attention was paid to it.
But recently a research was done in Russia regarding Khosta-2 virus. A surprising thing has emerged from this research. Because it has become clear from this research that Khost-2 virus can infect humans as well. At the same time, it is also clear that no corona vaccine is effective to protect against this virus. Meanwhile, Khost-2 and Corona virus belong to the same category of virus. Like corona, khosta also attacks cells in the body. Also, research has also revealed that the vaccines currently given as corona vaccines are not effective on the infectivity and lethality of Khosta virus.
The research related to Khosta-2 virus has been done in Russia and is published in the journal Close Pathogens. This research has revealed that people who have taken the corona vaccine. The new virus is as dangerous for their bodies as it is for unvaccinated individuals. Meanwhile, till now all the viruses of SARS Kovid-2 class have been exposed. eg. Delta, Omicron. The corona vaccine was effective against all these types. However, research has shown that the newly exposed Khost-2 virus is of the same category as the corona, but this vaccine is not effective.
How does ‘Khosta-2’ spread?
Khost-2 virus is currently spreading in wild animals such as bats, pangolins, raccoons and dogs. So far no case of infection with Khost-2 virus has been reported in humans.
