Khadakwasla to Kharadi Metro will run in Pune

Pune Metro: From Pune Mahametrok (Pune MetroThe plan for a distance of 25 km from Khadakwaska to Kharadi has been submitted to the Municipal Corporation.PMC) is presented. Mahametro has informed that the cost of this route will be Rs 8,565 crore. In this plan, there will be a separate route from Khadakwasla to Swargate-Harapsar and Kharadi, Mahametro has informed. There will be at least 22 stations on this route.

The route will be Khadakwasla-Singhgarh Road-Swargate-Shankarsheth Road-Ram Manohar Lohia Park-Mundhwa Chowk-Khardi. The entire route will be elevated. This route will proceed along the main Sinhagad road, in front of Sarasbagh, opposite Ganesh Kalakrida Manch, Jedhe Chowk, Shankarsheth Marg.

Pune Metro has recently submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the second phase to the Municipal Corporation. MahaMetro Public Relations Officer Hemant Sonawane said that Metro officials and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials have held preliminary discussions and a site visit for the proposed Metro sites will be done in the coming weeks.

Which stations will there be?

Kharadi to Khadakwasla route will have at least 22 stations. Khadakwasla, Dalvewadi, Nanded City, Dhiri Phata, Manikbagh, Hingane Chowk, Rajaram Bridge, PL Deshpande Park, Dandekar Bridge, Swargate, Seven Loves Chowk, Pune Cantonment, Race Course, Fatimanagar, Ramtekdi, Hadapsar, Magarpatta Main, Magarpatta North, Hadapsar There will be stations at the railway station, Sainath Nagar and Kharadi Chowk.

Garware to Deccan Metro will run soon

Pune Metro completed another milestone by completing the first trial run of Reach 1 from Fugewadi Metro Station to Dapodi Metro Station and Garware Metro Station to Deccan Metro Station. This test was a great success. This paves the way for starting the Metro from Garware College Metro Station to Civil Court and from Fugewadi to Shivajinagar Metro Station in the coming months.

The test was conducted from the currently operational Garware College Metro Station to Deccan Metro Station and back from Deccan to Garware Station. Similarly, trial of metro was also done on stage from Fugewadi to Dapodi metro station. Both the cars had a test speed of 15 KMPH and were completed as planned.
