New rates will be applicable on these eight stations
The hike in platform tickets by Southern Railway will be applicable at eight major stations of Chennai Division. These stations include Chennai Central, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Katpadi, Changalpattu, Arakkonam, Tiruvallur and Avadi. On the other hand, today Prime Minister Modi will flag off the country’s third Vande Bharat Express from Ahmedabad, which runs between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
