Ekta Kapoor: The news of the issuance of arrest warrants against TV producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor was in the news recently. Ekta Kapoor’s production house’s web series ‘XXX’ has created a controversy over the objectionable scene of a soldier. In the web series, there was talk of insulting the soldiers and hurting their feelings. A person had filed a complaint in the Begusarai court of Bihar regarding a scene in the serial. It was told that an arrest warrant has been issued against him in this case. However, now Ekta Kapoor’s lawyer has dismissed the reports that an arrest warrant has been received in this entire case.
Ekta Kapoor’s lawyer has now issued a statement on these reports. Ekta’s lawyer told that a few days ago the Magistrate Court in Begusarai had issued an arrest warrant against Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. However, Ekta Kapoor’s lawyers have stated that these reports based on the alleged statements of the complainant’s lawyer are false and no arrest warrant has been received for either Ekta Kapoor or Shobha Kapoor.
What exactly is the matter?
After the release of Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X Season 2’ under the banner of ‘ALT Balaji’, Ekta was accused of insulting the soldiers of the country, their uniform and the character of their wives. In one episode of the series, it was shown that while a constable is doing his duty at the border, his wife has illicit relations with other men behind her back. Not only this, these women invite other men to their homes, wear their husband’s military uniforms and commit abominable acts with foreign men.
Former soldier Shambhu Kumar filed a complaint in the court against Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X’ on 6 June 2020. He had alleged that in Ekta Kapoor’s web series ‘Triple X Season 2’, objectionable scenes were shown about the wives of Indian soldiers. Shambhu Kumar said that Indian soldiers risk their lives to protect the country. They should be treated with respect. But, he had said that such a wrong depiction of an Indian soldier and his wife in this web series is an insult to the soldiers.
