Nashik: Schools and colleges have been closed in the country and the state due to the outbreak of Kovid-19. However, the decision to start schools has been taken in view of the low cases of corona in some places. Schools will start in Nashik district from January 4.

Classes 9th to 12th will start from January 4. Online education will continue from class I to VIII. This information was given by Nashik District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal in the district review meeting. But no decision has been taken yet regarding the schools in Nashik city.

Schools will start in Karnataka state

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government on Saturday decided to reopen pre-university colleges (PUCs) and schools up to class 10 and restart major university programmes. The education department of Karnataka has decided to start school from January 1 for the students of classes 6 to 9. Schools and colleges are closed due to Corona.

Schools will resume in January after a gap of almost seven months. The Chief Minister told reporters that Karnataka’s Technical Advisory Committee on Kovid-19 had advised him to reopen schools from January 1.
