Programs are going on in Delhi on the last day of filing nominations for the election of Congress President. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor entered the headquarters amidst the sound of Congress drums and filled the application form. Jharkhand State President Krishnanand Tripathi has also applied for the post of Congress President. Veteran Congress leaders have entered the Congress headquarters to file Mallikarjun Kharge’s application. Digvijay Singh withdrew from the presidential race for Kharge. Kharge seems to have got the support of the leaders of the G23 group as well. Prithviraj Chavan, Anand Sharma, Manish Tiwari, leaders of G23 have also reached to file Kharge’s application.
