Tata Tiago EV Booking DateTata Tiago EV prices have been announced. The electric hatchback is offered in four trims – XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Luxury, with prices ranging between Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (depending on the trim and variant). With these prices, it becomes the cheapest electric car in India. Meanwhile, the first 10,000 customers will get this opportunity.
Now if you are thinking of booking as soon as possible, then the company has not started booking yet. The carmaker has confirmed that it will start bookings for the Tata Tiago Electric from October 10, 2022, while the deliveries of the electric hatchback will begin in January 2023.
The new Tata Electric Hatch comes with a choice of two lithium-ion battery packs – 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The company claims that the smaller battery pack can provide a range of 250 km while the larger battery pack can provide a range of 315 km. The battery packs are IP67 rated and come with a warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 kms. The EV is powered by the brand’s Ziptron high-voltage technology, coupled to a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that generates 110 Nm and 61 Bhp in the smaller battery variant and 114 Nm and 74 Bhp in the larger battery pack variant.
Tata claims that the Tiago EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The car gets electric blue highlights from outside and inside, air dam with tri-arrow Y-shape elements, closed grille, leatherette steering wheel, driver mode selector, ZConnect app, 45 connected car features, hill start and descent assist, controls, tyres see you. Pressure automatic climate features like monitoring system, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, push button start/stop and automatic headlamps are available.
