Biodiversity, the poor relation of impact start-ups

The second edition of the Impact and Innovation Days organized by the 50 Partners accelerator opened on September 23 under a fine rain from Normandy. On the program, a set of solutions and reflections on social and environmental challenges. And among them, a great forgotten: the preservation of biodiversity.

The young shoots that try to solve the problems of life, whether by attacking the artificialization of soil, water, forests or even the protection of bees are still in their infancy in France. “The subject gets less attention than climate change, but I think that will change thanks to a number of regulatory standards. I hope the subject will explode in the months and years to come,” considers Adrien Portafaix, Sustainability Partner at the Boston Consulting Group.
