Beed News Updates: Beed’s Dharur police has arrested a man who dialed 112 under the influence of alcohol and gave false information to the police that his wife was committing suicide. The suspect who has been arrested by the police is Navnath Tidke.
Navnath Vithal Tidke lives in Bhogalwadi village of Dharur taluka of Beed district. He called the police at 112 midnight and told that my wife was leaving the house and going to commit suicide. Called this number once or several times. So the Dharur police immediately reached Tidke’s house in Bhogalwadi village. At that time both Navnath Tidke and his wife met in the same house. After further investigation by the police, it was found that Navnath had made the call while intoxicated.
112 number has been made a helpline number by the police administration to help in the hour of crisis. But liquor farmer Navnath Tidke called several times on the same number. Because of this the police were very nervous.
After this whole matter, when the police asked Navnath Tidke about this, he was under the influence of alcohol. He confessed to the police that he had done so. On the complaint of police officer Santosh Bahirwadi, a case has been registered against Navnath Vithal Tidke in Dharur police station for making fake calls. After registering the case, Dharun police of Beed arrested him today.

But, calling this number is being made fun of in many ways by giving false information. A similar incident happened yesterday in Aurangabad. In Aurangabad, a man under the influence of alcohol called 112 and informed about the shooting. But, he had to pay a heavy price for his action. Three days later, when the police traced and interrogated the person who had informed about the shooting on the phone, it was found that a cartridge and two live cartridges were found from his house. Now the police has arrested him and the court has sentenced him to one day’s custody. The name of the accused in Aurangabad is Santosh Raghunath Sable.
