How is the job of the Chief Minister of Gujarat? Opinion polls have given a mixed response to the C-Voter question. Maximum 36 per cent people have said that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s work is good. 29 percent people have praised the work of the Chief Minister. Whereas 35 percent people have described the work of the Chief Minister as average.
Is the public happy with the work of the Chief Minister?
- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel implemented many philanthropic activities during his tenure of just one year. Bhupendra Patel has implemented several policies including Student Startup and Innovation Policy, IT Policy, Biotechnology Policy and Sports Policy. During this he approved 11 new universities.
- CM Patel has approved schemes worth Rs 4370 crore for further irrigation facilities and Narmada canal projects.
- He is talking about promoting natural farming. Dang district of Gujarat has been successful in making it a 100% natural farming district.
- CM Patel is doing important work in the medical field by celebrating every Friday as Medical Day in the state of Gujarat. In the days of medicine, infectious and other diseases are investigated and treated.
- People of rural areas are associated with the E-Gram Vishwagram Yojana.
- 500 new mobile towers have been installed in tribal areas.
- Around 1.25 lakh scheduled caste students have been given a post-matric stipend of about Rs 200 crore.
- For the first time in Gujarat, a budget of 2 lakh 44 thousand crores was presented. In which a provision of Rs 500 crore was made for providing fodder to the cows under the Gaumata Poshan Yojana.
- The present government is running a scheme to provide nutritious food to pregnant women in the state. For this, a provision of Rs 850 crore was made in the budget.
Apart from Gujarat, assembly elections are also due in Himachal Pradesh this year. For ABP News, C-Voter has conducted a survey for all the assembly constituencies of both the states. In the opinion poll, 65 thousand 621 people of both the states cast their votes.
