Thackeray vs Shinde What is the strategy of Thackeray cam coming to the Election Commission

Thackeray vs Shinde: The battleground between Thackeray and Shinde has now shifted from the Supreme Court to the Election Commission. The Supreme Court yesterday (27 September) gave the Election Commission full power to decide the party’s claim on election symbols. Therefore, while many issues are pending in the Supreme Court on one hand, the first decision is likely to come from the Election Commission.

The Shinde group ran for the first time in the Election Commission. The Uddhav Thackeray group was till now only seeking extension. But now the Thackeray group is less likely to get an extension after the Supreme Court’s decision. The documents submitted so far by Shinde Group should be received first. After that we will submit our documents, Thackeray group will prepare the first strategy in the commission.

How will Shivsena’s decision be?
There are two parts in any party, the legislative party and the organizational party.
– Legislature party means MLA MP, while organizational party means various branches, office bearers, leaders and deputy leaders of the party.
– The Election Commission first examines the party’s constitution, until the list of office bearers received by the commission when the party is united, how many support the splinter group.
The strength of the legislature party depends on how many MLAs and how many MPs are in whose favor
If there is any dispute in the counting of the office bearers, the written affidavit is also considered.

Local bodies elections will be held in Maharashtra soon, besides Andheri East bypolls are also expected to be held soon after the death of Ramesh Latke in Mumbai. In that background we have to see how fast the Election Commission’s decision comes.

No decision has been taken yet in this power struggle of Maharashtra. Disqualification of MLAs, which group leaders are valid and which are invalid, whether anti-defection law applies to Shinde group or not, etc. But while all this is pending, the first decision is likely to be taken by the Election Commission. This will help create an impression on the ground about who gets the signal.
